Tuition & Aid

Tuition for the Penn State Smeal Part-Time Hybrid MBA program is based on the University's annual in-state and out-of-state graduate rates, divided by the program's total number of credits required to graduate (35 credits). For the 2025-26 academic year, estimated tuition is $906.00 per credit for in-state students and $1,533.00 per credit for out-of state students.

In addition to tuition, students will be required to pay a $315 fee at the start of each semester.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to accept an offer of admission to the program. This deposit will be credited toward your fall tuition payment.

In-Person Residency

Attendance is required for a two-and-a-half-day in-person residency at the start of each semester at Penn State's University Park campus. During these kickoff residencies, students will have the opportunity to network with faculty, staff, and peers.

Global Immersion

The spring 2025 global immersion trip costs $2,475 per student (based on double occupancy), plus airfare and personal expenses such as passports, visas, meals, optional activities, and other incidental costs.
